Strengthen Your Intuition and Spiritual Connection: simple, everyday activities to support the brow and crown chakras

How are you doing with including simple activities in your day to support your chakras? Are you noticing a difference in your energy and mood?

Remember that for your body to work at its optimal level, energy and information must be able to travel through the chakras easily. Simple, everyday activities can support this work.

in recent weeks,we have journeyed together through the first 5 chakras exploring simple activities that support their health.

Today, we’ll explore the final two upper chakras, the brow and crown chakras, more closely.

The Brow Chakra

The third eye or brow chakra is the sixth chakra and is located in between the eyebrows, just a little above, on the forehead. It encompasses the pituitary gland, eyes, forehead, and lower brain.

It’s the home to your intuition or inner knowledge that will guide you if you let it. When opened, it holds the possibility for clairvoyance, telepathy, expanded imagination, and visualization.

The third eye is also the home to our conscience. Here you’re able to see what’s happening from the perspective of an observer who is mindful. And you understand what it means – seeing yourself and also the outer world. The actions that you take in your everyday life can affect your brow chakra. You can choose ones that help you awaken to inspiration and intuition. Here are 2 simple activities to support your brow chakra:

1. Awaken to your dreams.

  • Keep your eyes closed when you awake in the morning and try to remember any details of your dreams. What happened? How did you feel?
  • Write down any details from your dreams that you remember as soon as you open your eyes. Review your writing periodically to discover deeper meanings that arise.

2. Trust your intuition.

  • Hold a question you have about your life and sit quietly in silence or meditation. Be open to what you receive, even if unexpected.
  • Pay attention to any flashes of insight you have during a whole day. What people or thoughts come to mind seemingly “out of nowhere” throughout the day? How are they important at this moment?

The Crown Chakra

The seventh chakra, the crown chakra, is located at the top of the head and slightly above the head. It sits like a crown, opening upwards.

This is the chakra of enlightenment and spiritual connection to our higher self and the divine. It’s what gives us the ability to access higher states of consciousness, as we open to that which is beyond ourselves. Here we experience that we’re one with everyone and everything.

When this chakra is in balance, you feel grounded and connected to the divine. You feel unity with all beings and the world. You have a sense of the deeper meaning of life and feel a deep peace.

You’ll also be aware of your spiritual self and be selflessly devoted to the well-being of others because you see them as a part of you, rather than as separate.

Here are 2 simple activities to support your crown chakra in your daily life:

  1. Affirm your trust in the spiritual world.
    • Consider and affirm the spiritual connections that support you, that you have faith in, that you trust.
    • Acknowledge the spirit guides who are available to you. Express your gratitude to them.

  1. Practice meditation.
    • Sit quietly with eyes closed and focus on slowing your breath for 10 minutes.
    • Take a meditative walk outside focusing on the sights and sounds in nature.

This concludes the series on the chakras. I hope you’re able to continue taking simple actions in your life every day that help to keep your energy centers flowing and balanced! You’ll experience more joy in your life!
