It’s still dark outside when I wake up now and some days I can feel how I begin to brace myself to face the world as soon as I get up. I wonder what shocking news will come today. What will be hard to hear? Difficult to digest? Unbelievable?
Do you have mornings where you’d rather put your pillow over your head? To hide from the world?
The latest news can feel like it’s more than we can manage sometimes. Especially in this past year.
There seems to be so much pain and suffering in the world. And given our easy access to stories from around the world, we hear about the pain and suffering of so many in the world – every minute of the day.
It can make us feel frozen, unable to move or feel. It can even make us feel hopeless. I know I do at times.
Inwardly our soul longs for inner nourishment and peace at this time of year. Yet, it may be difficult for us to feed our soul what it needs. Especially in a year like this last one!
What if you could take the horse by the reins in 2019? Set your intentions and realize them? Nourish your soul. Find an inner peace.
