Balance Your Chakras and Access Your Personal Power: Simple everyday activities to balance the solar plexus energy center

The actions that you take in your everyday life will affect your energy centers. Why not choose ones that will keep you feeling energized, centered and grounded?

Chakras are the energy centers within our bodies. For your body to work at its optimal level, energy and information must flow harmoniously through these centers.

The 3 lower chakras below the heart include the root, sacral and solar plexus chakras. They’re related to earthly matters such as survival and security, sex, creation, strength and power. In this post, we’ll take a closer look at the solar plexus chakra. 

The Solar Plexus Chakra

The solar plexus chakra is the third chakra and located between your navel and the bottom of your sternum. It’s the source of your personal power and strength, helping you to find purpose and motivation in your life. It empowers you to be confident, responsible and reliable. It supports you in finding the strength to meet challenges and take action to move forward.

When you have a balanced solar plexus chakra, you feel confident and have healthy self-esteem. You may experience it as saying, “Yes!” to your life with joy and ease.

Here are 2 simple activities in your everyday life that can support your solar plexus energy center.

  1. Prioritize taking care of yourself- When you feel exhausted or are too busy, you’ll have little energy left to show up as your best self. Prioritize taking care of yourself and you’ll feel less stressed and more relaxed, allowing yourself to take actions with confidence and joy. Here are some ways to take care of yourself:
    • Move your body. Go for a walk or do yoga. Join a new movement class. Just get moving!
    • Eat healthy food to nourish your body with the nutrients it needs to function well.
    • Get enough sleep every night – typically 8 hours for most people.
    • Get a massage or body treatment.

  1. Say no to what drains you- Your energy can be drained by activities or habits that don’t serve you. This affects your motivation and joy.
    • Put your phone on silence, turn off your computer and TV often so you’re less distracted and can focus on what’s important to you.
    • Be willing to say no to events or activities that you don’t enjoy.
    • Recognize what personal connections or relationships don’t serve you well. Set boundaries and limit the time spent with them.

Remember that the actions you take in your life every day can help to keep your energy centers flowing and balanced! This will support you in feeling more powerful and confident, bringing joy into your life.
